It is almost impossible to find words to describe the horror and atrocities wantonly committed, daily, on </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, especially </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">children</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. We, the world, witness these in the comforts of our homes but, we are powerless to do anything.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. It is heart wrenching to see </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">children</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> in </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Gaza</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, running around looking for their parents, most probably dead.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. For goodness sake, these are </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">children</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, the same age as our children, our grandchildren, whom we would fuss over even after insect bite.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Have we lost our </span><span style="font-family: courier;">humanity</span><span style="font-family: arial;">? Have we no compassion, no pity, no tears for them?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. Indeed, we see </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">protests</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> all over the world but it doesn’t seem to bother those with the power to put a stop to it.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. While we can’t expect the bloodthirsty Israelis to stop their murdering spree, we should at least see leading civilised nations doing the needful. They can make a difference.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. The civilised world have achieved great things and even send people to the moon. And yet, they can’t even put a </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">stop</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> to the </span><span style="font-family: courier;">massacre</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> including their </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">children</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. We fight for animal rights, only to allow people </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">human beings</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> like us being continuously humiliated in the worse possible way…abused, tortured and killed over more than 70 years!</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. We fret over poverty and homelessness yet, we see, </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinian</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> homes being bulldozed, villagers evicted and their houses flattened, with the people still in them. And now entire neighbourhoods, buildings, hospitals are bombed and razed to the ground.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. The civilised world witness before their eyes daily, </span><span style="font-family: courier;">genocide</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> being committed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. And there are those who remain silent, quietly, extend support to Israel – moral and material – arms, intelligence and funds.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. What kind of people are these?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. They talk about Israel’s security. On Oct 7, some 1,400 Israelis were said to have died. Since then almost no deaths. But 10,000 Palestinians have now been killed. How many more do the Israelis want to kill?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">15. Whose security is actually the one that had been breached?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">16. We see Israeli soldiers but no Palestinian soldiers, only civilians.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">17. It seems that the US and its allies do not want the murders to stop.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">18. Israel now talks of a 4-hour ceasefire daily, a humanitarian pause. Seemingly to allow civilians to move to “safe” areas.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">19. Once this pause is over, the killings will continue and the non-combatants will die in droves, bombed and blasted into smithereens.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">20. What is happening in </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Gaza</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> is not war. There are only Israeli soldiers mass murdering </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinian civilians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">children</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> included. It is a </span><span style="font-family: courier;">massacre</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> by a State on a people.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">21. It is a conflict that has breached everything that is humane, morals and values. It is a massacre devoid of all sense of humanity.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">22. A conflict where the arrogance, despicable, brutal, uncivilised nature the </span><span style="font-family: times;">Zionist Jews</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> are displaying for all to see.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">23. We no longer have a right to claim we are </span><span style="font-family: times;">civilised</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">24. We have become</span><span style="font-family: georgia;"> barbarians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-90225475036063617462023-11-08T22:04:00.023+08:002023-11-16T22:08:45.451+08:00THE ISRAELI<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. The world is now seeing </span><span style="font-family: courier;">massacre</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> being perpetrated by the Israelis against the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> on their high definition TV screens. Every detail is shown. New born babies dying as electricity is cut off and the oxygen flow to their cribs stopped.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. Boys and girls wounded and dying being pulled out of collapsed building which had been bombed or rocketed by the Israelis. The wounded are being rushed on stretchers to ruined hospitals. The dead enshrouded with white cloth lying scattered on the ground.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. The survivors crying and wailing as they hug the bodies of adults, children and women who had been killed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. This is not war. We see only Israeli soldiers. No Palestinian soldiers. Only civilians running about frantically as they search for family members who were missing. There may be fighting but it can only be between Israeli soldiers against Palestinian civilian. Yet the bombs and rockets have pulverised the whole city.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. I cannot believe that this is happening. Long ago when the German Nazis were killing Jews in gas chambers, I felt a great pity for them.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. I thought that Jews would understand what suffering means. I thought that they would never inflict such suffering on others.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. But now I and the rest of the world are witnessing </span><span style="font-family: times;">Jewish</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> bestiality against the people who gave them </span><span style="font-family: courier;">asylum</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> when the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Europeans</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> oppressed them.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Jews fled to Muslim countries when Ferdinand and Isabella reconquered Spain. They, the Jews and the Muslims were given three choices.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. They could convert to Christianity, or emigrate or be put to death. Most chose to migrate. The Jews had no land of their own. So they migrated to Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Turkey. These were all </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Muslim countries</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. They also migrated to </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestine</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. They survived and some even prospered. The Muslim fellow citizens did not commit pogroms against them.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. They left these countries only after the state of Israel was created.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. And since then there were violent wars as the expelled </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> tried to regain their </span><span style="font-family: courier;">land</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. Do the Israeli remember the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">holocaust</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Nazis</span><span style="font-family: arial;">? Do they remember </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Ferdinand and Isabella</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> giving them the three choices? Do they remember their </span><span style="font-family: courier;">asylum</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> in the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Muslim countries</span><span style="font-family: arial;">?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. Apparently they don’t. Not at all if their </span><span style="font-family: courier;">genocidal</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> war against the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinian</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, their brutality is any indication.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-39494314959730615632023-11-07T21:58:00.032+08:002023-11-16T22:02:48.391+08:00THE WAR ON GAZA<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Malaysians seem to be divided over this war. Many believe this is a war caused by the differences between the Palestinians and the Jews. It may have started as a war.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. But now it has become a deprivation of the human rights of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Gazans</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. As much as every human being has a right, the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Gazans</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> also should enjoy human rights. But they are deprived of their rights by the Israelis.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. We cannot forget in the late 1930s the </span><span style="font-family: times;">Jews</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> in </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Germany </span><span style="font-family: arial;">were being deprived of their rights. The </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">holocaust</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> resulted in six million </span><span style="font-family: times;">Jews</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> being </span><span style="font-family: times;">killed</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. May more suffered from torture and oppression.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. The world sympathised with the Jews of Germany. And part of the rejection of Nazis was the bestiality of the German Nazis.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. Many millions died so as to end the sufferings of the Jews.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. Now we are seeing the </span><span style="font-family: times;">Jews</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> of Israel indulging in the same deprivation of the rights of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. It is a human tragedy. The power of the Israelis over the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> is the same as those of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Nazis</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> against the </span><span style="font-family: times;">Jews</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. It is manifestly </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">unfair</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">inhuman</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. All </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malaysians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> must reject the deprivation of the rights of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> by the Israelis.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. It is wrong for </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Muslims</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> only to demand for the end of the genocidal acts of the Israelis. Everyone in </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malaysia</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> should be concerned and should </span><span style="font-family: courier;">demand</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> for the </span><span style="font-family: courier;">end</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> of </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Israeli attacks</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> against the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-77179710552299467072023-11-01T21:51:00.024+08:002023-11-16T21:56:21.509+08:00THE GENOCIDE<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. The Israelis have killed 8000 plus </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. But </span><span style="font-family: times;">Netanyahu</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> says they have not won the war.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. When will Israel consider the war has been won?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. When they have killed all 1.6 million </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. What does the world do to this Israeli intention?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">120 countries</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> in the</span><span style="font-family: georgia;"> UN</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> say </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">stop the killings</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. But </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">America</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> says </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">keep on </span><span style="font-family: courier;">killing</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. That is the measure of </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">America</span><span style="font-family: arial;">’s </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">humanitarian</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> policy.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. That also is the measure of the humanitarian policy of those countries which support the killings by Israel.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. This is the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">world</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> in which we live.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Murderers</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> are </span><span style="font-family: courier;">supported</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. There is something strange about the Israeli war on </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Gaza</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. When the war started the report says that two thousand </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> were killed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. The number of Israelis killed was 1400.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. The war has gone on for more than two weeks.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. The report says that now more than five thousands </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> have been killed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. But the number of Israelis killed remained at 1400.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. Could it be that after killing 1400 Israelis on the first day, Hamas had stopped firing rocket at Israel? Or is it that the 1400 figure was cooked up by Israel to justify their continued </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">genocidal</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> attempts against Hamas and all </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Israel is not a big power. Yet it cares nothing for </span><span style="font-family: courier;">international laws</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> or </span><span style="font-family: courier;">morality</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. Why?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. The reason is because it has the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">American</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> Government behind it. Frankly the American Government approves of the crimes and the immorality of Israel. </span><span style="font-family: times;">Biden</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> never mentions the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> who had been </span><span style="font-family: times;">killed</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. Why is the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">American</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> Government backing Israel? It is because the Jews of America have a big say in the choice of the President and the Government of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">United States</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. They own the </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">media</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and the </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">banks</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. As we </span><span style="font-family: courier;">condemn</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> Israel for the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">atrocities</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> against the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, we should also </span><span style="font-family: courier;">condemn</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">American Government</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> for its </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">support</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> of the </span><span style="font-family: courier;">atrocities</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. In fact the American Government seems ready to support Israeli </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">invasion</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> of </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Gaza</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and the </span><span style="font-family: courier;">genocide</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> that it plans. The </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">American Government</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and that of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">UK</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> are equally culpable.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-6327312513517781342023-10-18T21:36:00.029+08:002023-11-16T21:43:47.092+08:00SAVINGS AND DEBTS<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><i><span style="color: #eeeeee;">blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malaysia</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> is famous for having huge savings.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. Apart from the reserves held by </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Bank Negara</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> amounting to more than USD100 billion (RM500 billion) we have RM1 trillion investment assets with </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Employees Provident Fund</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> (<i>EPF</i>), over RM300 billion assets under management in </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Permodalan Nasional Berhad</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> (<i>PNB</i>), more than RM80 billion deposit savings with </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Tabung Haji</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and the pension fund, </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">KWAP</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> has almost RM150 billion. We have in fact more than one trillion </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Ringgit</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> in savings.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. At the same time we have huge debts incurred during Najib’s tenure as Prime Minister and now the additional amounts in Government funds for projects, subsidies and free gifts. We have a lot of debts.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. Most of our savings are invested in </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">US bonds</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. We cannot get back the money easily. The </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">US</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> has a </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">reputation</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> of </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">not giving back the money</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> lent to them or deposited with them.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. So much of Government fund had to be used to service the loans. This results in more deficits. The debts remain as a burden. We have to service the debts with several billions every year.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. So why are we saving money when we can pay our debts and reduce our financial burden.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. Why are we </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">lending money</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> from our savings to the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">US</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and get little return from it.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Why must we hold so much money as reserves in </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">USD</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. Why must we have so much money as reserves.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. These are the questions that the Government must ask itself.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-65278490928214136002023-10-17T21:33:00.007+08:002023-11-16T21:36:21.549+08:00MEMPERALAT LHDN<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Sebaliknya, dia cuma “meroyan” di luar mahkamah dan membiar Najib menghadapi saman dan kalah.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-60075348902939684302023-10-10T23:06:00.047+08:002023-11-15T23:24:06.550+08:00THE PALESTINE-ISRAEL CONFLICT<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. The reactions to the latest hostility between Palestinians and the Israelis actually underscores why the conflict, which has been more than seven decades, would not find a solution.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. Firstly, the responses that came from powerful Western nations and their apparatus, including their media, are hypocritical, bigoted and pathological.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. Instead of addressing the conflict for what it actually is, they chose to continue with their deceptive narrative that it is an attack on Israel by terrorists – their blame being obviously against Hamas, the Hezbollah and Iran.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. With that narrative, they stoke fear in the Western community, claiming that it is an attack on democracy and peace loving people.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. With that, the US in particular feel justified to extend military support to Israel to “retaliate” against Palestinians attacks.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. All these are far from the truth. Instead they are outright </span><span style="font-family: times;">lies</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> which had been perpetuated unashamedly by </span><span style="font-family: times;">Western leaders</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and </span><span style="font-family: times;">their media</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. The truth is actually very simple.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. For decades, the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Israelis</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> had been committing </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">war crimes</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">massacres</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">genocide</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and unthinkable </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">atrocities</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> against the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. These are not one-off acts but rather systematically conducted without respite throughout the </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">seven decades</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. Apart from Palestinian land which the Israelis acquired illegally through unilateral agreements and treaties with former occupiers of Palestine, the Israeli settlers have been forcefully seizing lands and farms belonging to </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. The Palestinians are chased out of their land and any attempt to seek some form of restitution from the Israeli authorities are met with violence backed most times by the Israeli security forces namely the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. The Palestinians, pushed to the corner, while </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Gaza</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> was turned into an </span><span style="font-family: courier;">open air prison</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, attempted sporadic retaliations, which in turn were met with the full force of the IDF with weapons supplied by superpowers in particular the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">US</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. This episode is not any different from previous retaliations except that probably this time around they are more focussed with a bit more assistance externally.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. But the Western powers and their apparatus continue with their </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">lies</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, with their narratives that the hostility is an act of terror committed by terrorists, ignoring the fact that it is retaliation by a people whose </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">freedom</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">rights to their land</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> had been forcefully taken away from them.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">15. They refuse to view the hostility is committed by </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">freedom fighters</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> who are up against an injustice committed by an </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">apartheid</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> regime which had been perpetrating </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">genocide</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> on the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Palestinians</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">16. The </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Western</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> powers and the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">US</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> are party to </span><span style="font-family: times;">apartheid</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, </span><span style="font-family: times;">genocide</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and </span><span style="font-family: times;">crimes</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> against </span><span style="font-family: times;">humanity</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> for as long as they support the heinous </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Israeli</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> regime.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">17. With that, any attempt towards finding a just and fair solution for the Palestinians becomes an exercise in futility.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">18. In the meantime, the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Israelis</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> can be expected to carry out their </span><span style="font-family: times;">genocide</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> with impunity and with total disregard of </span><span style="font-family: courier;">international laws</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-25946017916671328682023-10-09T23:04:00.010+08:002023-11-15T23:23:31.174+08:00IMMUNITY<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><i><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;">blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Some people are said to be above the law. They are immune. But are they really?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. What do you think when an immune person commits a crime. Should he be charged? Well, if he is immune then he should not be charged.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. What if he kills a person? Well if he is immune then he should not be charged.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. What if the person he killed is your mother, or father or beloved brother?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Well we cannot allow that. But other people do not feel so much hurt. It is not their mother, or father or beloved brother. So they will say we have to respect the immunity. That is the rule of law.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. But it may not be killing a person. It may be just stealing your property.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. That’s okay. No carge.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. What would society be like if an immune person can take what belongs to you, or to other people?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. You would feel very uncomfortable. You would want to migrate.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. You are seeing a lot of people migrating now. They migrate because they can find no way to live a secure life.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. So just think.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. We have a Government led by a Reformist. It is a Government that is immune, that is above the law.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. We must like immunity.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. We keep on supporting a Government that is immune.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">15. What can we do?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">16. We can pray to Allah.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">17. But Allah has said in the Quran that he will not change your life until you have done something to change it.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">18. Have we done anything? </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-85675913075664003772023-10-04T23:01:00.009+08:002023-11-15T23:22:19.631+08:00ZAHID HAMIDI’S ALLEGATION<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. During Zahid Hamidi’s trial he alleged that I threatened him with being charged for his crimes unless he dissolved UMNO.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. I did not comment as I thought I should not comment on the trial unless I was called to bear witness.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. But I was not called. Instead the AG decided to offer him a </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">DNAA</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> which meant the court was not allowed to decide on his allegation. But actually the allegation was not completely true.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. Zahid came to see me after UMNO (Barisan Nasional) lost in the 14th Election. At that time several members of UMNO, including Hamzah Zainudin, had resigned from the party and had joined Bersatu. I expected Zahid to do the same. But he seemed determined to resuscitate UMNO.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. I told him that UMNO could not be revived. I advised him to dissolve UMNO.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. Up to that point Zahid’s allegation was correct. But I did not threaten to charge him for his misappropriating the fund of Yayasan Akal Budi (YAB).</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. I did not simply because I did not know much about his misdeeds. That was something that the A.G. (Tommy Thomas) would be looking into.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Zahid came to see me again. He was carrying a thick file. He claimed that he was innocent and the files would prove it.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. I simply told him to show the files to the judge. I told him I had no authority to do anything for him.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. He withdrew the files. I believe the AG preferred charges against him and he had to answer in the court.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. The AG has the right to charge anyone if he is convinced that there was a case. The PM’s opinion is not required.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. I wish I had been called as a witness to verify whether the allegation made by Zahid was true or not. But I was not called. Still I need to clarify that at no time did I threaten Zahid.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-72399090764353641702023-09-26T22:54:00.010+08:002023-11-15T23:21:19.427+08:00WITHDRAWING CHARGES<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. The defence often claim that the charges brought against their client is politically motivated. If there is evidence that the charges are politically motivated, does that mean that the charges should be dropped.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. What we are seeing today are charges directed at opposition personnel almost exclusively. But charges are withdrawn when the person involved is from the Government or in the Government.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. As far as we can make out the people being questioned by the police are all from the opposition parties. Those from Government supporters breaking the rule against talking of the prohibited 3R seem to be free from police interrogation.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. For example, talking about the problems of Malays invites police interrogation. But talking about the demands for the three races to be designated as the indigenous people of Malaysia do not attract police interrogation. Talking about multiracialism is as racial as talking about one race.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. There is obvious discrimination here. And there are many other examples. While religion may not be talked about but the Government itself is introducing the study of 40 hadiths to the school. That is about religion.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. A crime is a crime. It is for the judge to determine whether the accused is guilty or innocent based on the evidence presented.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. But unfortunately judges are appointed by the Government. They may want to be free. But the public worries about the freedom of the judges.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. But it is not just the judge. In Malaysia the AGC exercise a lot of power. It has the authority to send the case to the courts or it may decide not to. Effectively the AG can make a judgement on the case. The judge will not hear the case.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. In a recent case the AG decided not only not to send the case to the court but he actually proved that there is prima facie evidence that there is a case for the defendant to answer. And the judge agreed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. Then suddenly the AG decided not to continue with the case. The judge has no choice but to discharge the accused. However, the judge decided not to acquit the accused. So the decision by the judge is discharge without acquittal.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. This means that the accused may be guilty. But he is free.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. This is unique. Perhaps there has been no such case anywhere in the world. The Malaysian judiciary has established a world record.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. Malaysians should be proud. Or should they?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-54807357545113413102023-09-19T16:44:00.008+08:002023-11-15T16:46:30.078+08:00LANGUAGE OF SCIENCE<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. UMNO nationalists wanted the Malay language to be widely used and rank pari-passu with other world languages. But there was also a suspicion that the support for the Malay language was not because of nationalism but the desire for easy acquisition of educational qualification. Obviously using Malay as the medium of instruction was easier than English.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. But a number of the Supreme Council members were more concerned that education should produce young Malaysians who could contribute to the development and progress of the nation.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. The ideas thrown up ranged from maintaining Malay as the only medium to switching back to resuscitating the English schools.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. In the end a hybrid solution was accepted. The medium would be Malay for all subjects except for science and mathematics.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Everyone agreed that the modern world of technology and innovation required good scientific knowledge. Besides science is not static. New knowledge is being presented all the time.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. Mathematics is also seeing newer and more sophisticated application all the time.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. By comparison geography and history may lead to research and new discoveries, but the basic data hardly ever change.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Research and development in science see new discoveries and totally new applications. Unless one has the capacity to follow what is happening in the scientific field, one will be left behind.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. Research and development may be done in any language. But almost all research are translated into English for information and study by people of different languages in the world.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. If a scientist wants to acquire the latest scientific knowledge, knowing English would make this possible. But if one has no command of English, then one has to wait for a translation to one’s own language.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. This is tedious and time consuming. The translator must be conversant with the particular area of science, and understand well the English language and the Malay language. Not many people can have these attributes. Even if they do, the burden is such that they would not want to spend their life doing this work.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. It must be obvious to everyone that today’s science is quite different from the science of only four decades ago. Not so very long-ago radio broadcast required a big building full of numerous expensive equipment and staff. Today a small gadget that can be carried in the pocket can both broadcast and receive radio and television messages.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. From the big broadcasting station to the mobile phone in numerous system changes and power that was breath-taking has been achieved. The knowledge about broadcasting had changed repeatedly. New means of communication had been researched and developed until today wires are no longer required to send a message to the other side of the planet or to the moon and other planets.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-81024205554513244082023-09-18T16:37:00.030+08:002023-11-15T16:44:32.437+08:00ANWAR DAN ZAHID<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Kesangsian</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> terhadap </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">kes-kes rasuah</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> yang dilakukan </span><span style="font-family: times;">Zahid</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> hanya timbul setelah </span><span style="font-family: times;">Anwar</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> berjaya menjadi </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">PM</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> dengan sokongan </span><span style="font-family: times;">Zahid</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">15. Yang jelas, kes-kes terhadap Zahid gugur dengan PM sekarang.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-60725301354254892982023-09-12T16:19:00.031+08:002023-11-15T16:26:23.836+08:00THE RINGGIT<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. The </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Ringgit</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> is depreciating. This may result in </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malaysian</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> exports becoming cheaper. But it also means the imports cost more. And this result in </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">higher cost of living</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. The answer may be to increase the minimum wage. UMNO youths are suggesting that the minimum wage should be RM2000/-. This will increase the cost of production and export prices. We may become less competitive.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. But if there is an increase in productivity, the increase in the minimum wage will not increase the cost of production.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. How do we increase productivity? We can do so by improving efficiency. We can also increase productivity by automation and robots.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Workers can be trained to operate automated machines and robots. They should also learn to service, maintain and repair machines.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. But the continued devaluation of the Ringgit would increase cost. The gains through greater efficiency and investment in automation and robots would soon be lost.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. Bank Negara and the Government is against fixing the exchange rate. This would be against international practice. We must practice international norms.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Many people believe the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Ringgit</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> is undervalued. The reason why it is depreciating is because currency traders are selling Ringgits and making a lot of profits from their trade.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. Why should </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malaysia</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> help the </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">currency traders</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> to make money out of </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">currency trading</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. Why should </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malaysia</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> accept being made poorer so the </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">currency traders</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> can make </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">money.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. I don’t think we should. I don’t think we should suffer from increasing poverty simply because we want to be loyal to international norms. I think we should give </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">priority</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> to our financial stability and our economy.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. What I am suggesting is that we should fix the exchange rate as we did during the financial crises of </span><span style="font-family: courier;">1997-1998</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. Remember how the devaluation of the Ringgit stopped. Remember how we </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">recovered</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. And even other countries were able to avoid the depreciation of their currencies being </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">manipulated</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> by the </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">currency traders</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. There would be problems of course, as there were when we fixed the exchange rate before. But we had set up special committees to deal with refinancing banks, dealing with non-performing loans and payment of debts. The people who handle these problems are still around.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. So why not consider </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">fixing the exchange rate</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> to solve the problem of the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Ringgits</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. We have enough </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">savings</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> and </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">reserves</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> in </span><span style="font-family: trebuchet;">foreign currency</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, including the USD to finance imports.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. So why not?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-61113381279075646282023-09-07T16:15:00.012+08:002023-11-15T16:18:40.895+08:00THE WORLD’S FUTURE<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. The </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">world’s population </span><span style="font-family: arial;">is now </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">8 (eight) billion</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. That is a lot. Imagine the waste produced by this huge number of people. Mountains of rubbish will appear everywhere.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. Especially as the world has become smaller.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. Not physically, but in ease of communication. Now the time taken for the journey from China to Malaya has been reduced to 3 hours. Before it took 3 months.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. And when communication is easy, countries cannot be isolated. All countries are neighbours of every country.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. What one country does affect other countries. This may lead to conflicts and the spread of diseases.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. But in the past humanity living in communities develop common values.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. A sense of belonging and brotherhood develops.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. This leads to the founding of nations, to loyalty to the states.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. As population grows, the administration of nations become more complex and difficult.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. Laws and rules were made to deal with challenges to governance.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. Abiding by the rules and laws stabilises and sustain the state.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. But now there arise conflicts between nations as the community of nations become closer to each other.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. Wars were fought.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">15. Men were killed, wounded.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">16. Towns destroyed. Countries razed to the ground.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">17. Just as people and communities develop common values and set up nations, there arise a need for nations to develop common values which unite them.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">18. Concepts of freedom and equality were invented.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">19. But over the years these concepts were interpreted to mean the right to challenge all restrictions posed by old values.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">20. With this nations become ungovernable again</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">21. To regain power the governments resorted to new ideologies and technologies.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">22. The people counter with their technologies.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">23. Nations became more and more ungovernable.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">24. Centuries ago monarchies were replaced by democracies.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">25. The people should rule themselves.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">26. But how?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">27. Systems were developed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">28. Leaders were elected by people.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">29. The belief was that the people would choose the best people to lead.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">30. The leaders had to be given power to rule.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">31. But often the people do not choose the best people.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">32. They choose people from their tribe, from their parties.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">33. They chose the people who bribed them.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">34. And so corrupt people win and form the Governments.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">35. And corrupt Governments destroy democracy.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">36. In the meantime the population of the nations keep on growing.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">37. Numbers give them power.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">38. The Government is again challenged.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">39. Then the world itself would be attacked.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">40. Not by creatures from other planets.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">41. But by creatures in the planet.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">42. They were small.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">43. They take the form of virus.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">44. And they attack the whole world.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">45. But despite the League of Nations and the United Nations the world remains divided.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">46. And each nation cannot tackle the problem by itself.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">47. Just as principalities and states merge to become nation states, now nation states must merge, partially at least to deal with common problems.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">48. If they fail then there would be more common problems which cannot be dealt with effectively.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-52836784915004814012023-09-05T17:00:00.017+08:002023-11-15T16:15:06.994+08:00DOKUMEN PALSU<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Jika dokumen itu benar</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, kenapa perlu sebar melalui </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">media sosial </span><span style="font-family: arial;">dan </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">mengguna akaun palsu</span><span style="font-family: arial;">? </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Laporlah</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> pada pihak berkuasa jika </span><span style="font-family: courier;">tulen</span><span style="font-family: verdana;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. Atau adakah ini hanya usaha untuk alih perhatian daripada peristiwa-peristiwa yang menggusarkan, yang mendedah reformasi cuma slogan bukan satu pegangan.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. Cukup-cukuplah dengan sikap pathological liar dan mulalah berkata benar.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-26115608243270436452023-09-05T16:09:00.010+08:002023-11-15T16:11:07.990+08:00THE RULE OF LAW<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Laws made by man can be changed or reinterpreted.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. Thus in the good old days in England stealing was punished by death by hanging from a gibbet in public view.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. Today the death penalty cannot be given even for murder. That is the new rule of law.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. The judiciary consist of the Attorney General and the judges. The decision of the first court may be appealed through a second. And the decision of the second court appealed through a third court.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Then the supreme head may modify the sentence or even pardon. But the guilt remains.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. There is another judge not presiding over a court. This judge make his own decision based on whatever.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. He may decide there is no case to answer. Even when the case is being heard, his decision prevails.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. The judge may believe that there is guilt and refuse acquittal.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. But the case cannot be heard.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. That is the law. The rule of law has been adhered to.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. Bravo Malaysia.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. Your judiciary is the best in the world.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-29300581872796259442023-09-04T16:05:00.015+08:002023-11-15T16:09:03.680+08:00REFORMASI<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Semasa Anwar berada di luar Kerajaan jeritan “<i>reformasinya</i>” terdengar sepanjang masa seluruh dunia.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">Kebebasan bersuara</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> adalah </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">hak asasi manusia</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. Kerajaan pada masa itu dikatakan tidak demokratik, diktator.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. Sekarang setelah jadi Kerajaan, </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">rakyat dihalang bercakap</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Bercakap pasal apa?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. Itu racist.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. Itu ektremis</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. When other countries insist that foreigners who want to be citizens of the country have to assimilate and be assimilated with the definitive people of the country, the Malays were willing to accept unassimilated foreigners as citizens. The migrants can retain their languages and customs and even their schools and scripts upon becoming citizens.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. They can even stay apart from the indigenous people and retain their identification with their original country. They retain their racial identification with their economic functions.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. Despite all these unusual tolerances, the country, under predominantly Malay rule remained stable and peaceful. In fact it developed faster than most other countries where conditions and restrictions are imposed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. But when this generosity is taken for granted and the beneficiaries propose that the land does not belong only to the Malays as the definitive people, that it belongs equally to the unassimilated migrants and their descendants, then the Malays have a right to object to this demand.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. To call this objection racist is a contradiction in terms.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. It is the demand of those who refused to be assimilated, refuse to be identified with the definitive people who continue their identification with their racial origins who are racist.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">The English</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> people who seized the land of the natives of </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">North America</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, set up a new nation, the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">United States of America</span><span style="font-family: arial;">. The later immigrants and their descendants probably outnumbered the descendants of the English settlers. But the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">United States of America</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> remain the </span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">English-speaking</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">United States of America</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> despite the citizenship of so many people who are not of English descent.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Indeed new citizens are tested in the mastery of the </span><span style="font-family: times;">English language</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, in the history of the country and loyalty to it before being conferred with the citizenship of the country.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. Such is their loyalty to their adopted nation that they would fight to the death against their countries of origin.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. Clearly the </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malays</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> had not followed the usual conditions for accepting foreigners as citizens.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. This is the cause of the problem facing the nation now.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-49169987471932618772023-08-29T15:56:00.019+08:002023-11-15T16:00:44.587+08:00TIGA R<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Ramai juga yang menyoal kenapa saya marah sangat terhadap larangan bercakap berkenaan 3R – iaitu Race (Bangsa), Religion (Agama) dan Royalty (Raja).</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. Bukankah Kerajaan berhak melarang sesuatu.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. Tidak. Kerajaan tidak boleh larang apa-apa melainkan ia ada kaitan dengan keselamatan negara.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. Larang </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">3R</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> terlalu </span><span style="font-family: times;">umum</span><span style="font-family: helvetica;">.</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> Tidak dijelas kenapa dan bagaimana bercakap berkenaan 3R boleh mencetus bahaya terhadap negara.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Jika saya kata “Orang Melayu menghadapi masalah” maka saya dianggap sebagai pemberontak yang polis perlu soal saya.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. Saya kata saya beragama Islam, maka ini juga melanggar arahan Perdana Menteri.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. Kalau saya salah maka Perlembagaan juga salah kerana Perlembagaan menyebut “</span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Islam</span><span style="font-family: arial;">” sebagai agama rasmi </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Malaysia</span><span style="font-family: arial;">.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. Salahkah kalau saya kata kita punyai “Raja Berperlembagaan”?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. Larangan yang dibuat terlalu umum sehingga rakyat takut disalahkan apabila menyebut bangsa, agama dan raja. Polis ikut penceramah seolah-olah hendak cekup mereka.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. Ini tidak sihat. Rakyat berhak bercakap berkenaan masalah mereka. Apa hak Perdana Menteri membuat larangan. Negara ditadbir mengikut undang-undang. Tiap suatu yang hendak diperbuat oleh Kerajaan ada caranya.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. Kita punyai Dewan Rakyat dan Dewan Negara.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. Ada cara tertentu untuk melulus undang-undang. Perdana Menteri bukan bebas untuk membuat undang-undang. </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Polis</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> dan </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">MACC</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> juga tidak bebas bertindak sesuka hati. Cara manakah yang dibuat oleh Perdana Menteri dengan tiba-tiba merampas hak rakyat dan hak parti-parti politik bercakap.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">16. Cuma </span><span style="font-family: times;">pemerintahan kuku besi</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> sahaja yang memberi kuasa tanpa had kepada pemerintah.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">17. Sudahkah kita sampai ke peringkat itu?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">18. Itu soalannya. Lebih-lebih lagi pelakunya ialah seorang Reformis yang kononnya menolak cara pemerintahan kuku besi?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-67289780586836748392023-08-27T15:46:00.015+08:002023-11-15T15:55:35.764+08:00LGBT<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Perkahwinan hanya untuk memuaskan nafsu.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. Kata mereka apa salahnya. Mereka cuma ingin keseronokan. Mereka tidak membinasa sesiapa.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">18. Demikianlah perubahan nilai hidup dan budaya hasil dari mengejar persamaan dan kebebasan oleh masyarakat manusia.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">19. Dengan ini masyarakat akan hilang pedoman dan akan alami huru hara dan kehancuran.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-16007730007561344962023-08-24T21:13:00.010+08:002023-11-14T21:15:50.809+08:00APANDI’S ACTIONS OR THE LACK OF IT ON 1MDB<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><i><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;">blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </span></i></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. When I questioned the Government for agreeing to settle out of court the suit for wrongful dismissal of former AG Apandi Ali, instead of the current AG providing an explanation, it was Apandi who reacted.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. Obviously Apandi was not happy that I pointed out that his dismissal was justified on grounds of dereliction of duty and the Government’s decision to settle and compensate him with an undisclosed sum of money is tantamount to agreeing that he was wrongfully dismissed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. To my mind, it is important to establish whether Apandi had failed to perform his duties as an AG.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. The decision by nine judges from three different levels of courts which found Najib guilty of the SRC International case (a 1MDB related company) proved that Apandi, who exonerated Najib for any wrong doing had failed in performing his duties. Clearly the nine judges believed that there were cases for Najib to be charged.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Similarly, last year, when High Court judge Datuk Azimah Omar dismissed Apandi’s defamation suit against Lim Kit Siang, her judgement was very damning of Apandi’s role in the 1MDB scandal.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. In her judgement, on the above case, Azimah, among others, said of Apandi: “The Plaintiff’s action in hastily closing and concluding investigations, and the Plaintiff’s inaction to meaningfully investigate the matter, indeed justifies the Defendant’s imputation that the Plaintiff ought to be investigated for his conducts which may have assisted in the cover up of the 1MDB scandal.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. She also noted that Lim was justified in his statement urging Apandi to answer why he had absolved Najib of the 1MDB affair in 2016.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. If those were not sufficient grounds to prove Apandi’s dereliction of duty, the recent revelations by Zeti, former Governor of Bank Negara, at the 1MDB trial that she had asked Apandi to charge several staff of 1MDB for their involvement in the scandal but Apandi did not act on it.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. I brought this matter up because public funds cannot be used to compensate Apandi when he was dismissed because of dereliction of duty.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. His decision to absolve and exonerate Najib over the 1MDB scandal had allowed the kleptocrats to fleece the nations of billions of ringgit.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. And then, more public funds are awarded to Apandi who was exposed to have abetted and absolved the kleptocrats.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. Apandi also tried to defend himself over the issue of dereliction of duty by linking the decision to withdraw application for judicial review in relation to Pulau Batu Puteh which was made under my watch which he said was also a dereliction of duty.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. In the first place, what kind of legal brain does he have when he tried to justify his dereliction of duty by citing my purported dereliction of duty? Does that mean that it is justified for him to commit dereliction of duty if others commit such things too?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">14. Since he wanted to bring up the Pulau Batu Puteh issue, I am prepared to answer and explain my decision whenever and if the Government feels necessary.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">15. My refusal to answer is to the committee which is headed by Apandi who had been exposed to be incompetent and had been accused of abetting in the 1MDB crime.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">16. For the life of me, I cannot understand until today that the Government had appointed Apandi, whose credibility as an AG had been sullied and tarnished for his dereliction of duty, to head the Pulau Batu Puteh committee.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">17. Isn’t it a joke that a person so obviously incompetent is given the responsibilities to find wrong doings of others?</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">18. Instead, based on all the court findings and expose, Apandi should be charged for his role in the 1MDB scandal.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">19. My flying kites does not negate his dereliction of duty. It merely proves that the charge is correct.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-3009060311654350092023-08-23T21:11:00.010+08:002023-11-14T21:12:51.480+08:00SCIENCE AND MATHS<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. I have always believed that science and mathematics should be taught in English. This is because this field of knowledge is not indigenous. This means that it comes to us not in the Malay language. And largely it comes in the English language.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. This knowledge has to be translated into Malay. The translators must have a good understanding of the subject and be fluent in English and Malay.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. Not many people would have this qualification. Besides, new discoveries in science and applications of mathematics are being added almost daily. To translate them would require an army of translators.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. It is different with other fields of knowledge. In geography and history for example the basic facts hardly ever change. Only the presentation may be different. So the need to translate is quite limited.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. But with science and mathematics new discoveries and new applications have to be learnt or acquired if the student is going to keep up with the new technologies.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. For example knowledge of wireless broadcasting twenty years ago is not adequate for dealing with new means of broadcasting today. Updating in the science of communication is almost continuous.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. If the teaching is in English, all the new knowledge can be learnt directly as most scientific papers are presented in English.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">10. The Malay language has developed greatly. But for keeping up with scientific development, borrowing from other languages is essential. We are aware that we borrow a lot from the English language.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">11. We understand the national desire to develop our language. But the objective of education is primarily to gain knowledge. We cannot sacrifice knowledge merely because we want to develop our language. Education would be worthless if we are left behind in terms of knowledge which is so essential for our development and progress.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">12. So the Government should reconsider the decision to do away with the option to teach science and mathematics in English.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">13. Better still let it not be just an option. Let us decide to teach science and mathematics in English.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-86185542949035681592023-08-22T21:07:00.014+08:002023-11-14T21:10:29.748+08:00DERELICTION OF DUTY<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. I was startled when I read the news report that, during the trial involving </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">1MDB</span><span style="font-family: arial;">, Zeti, the former </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Governor</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> of </span><span style="font-family: georgia;">Bank Negara</span><span style="font-family: arial;"> stated that she had reported to the A.G. at that time, i.e., Apandi the wrong doings of the staff of 1MDB. But the A.G. did not take any action. It seems to me like dereliction of duty.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">2. Yet Apandi had sued me for wrongful dismissal. I was prepared to go to court to explain why I had to remove him.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">3. Another example of Apandi’s wrongful decision was to dismiss all the cases against Dato Sri Najib. Yet when another A.G. brought Najib’s cases to court, three courts and nine judges found Najib guilty.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">4. Clearly Apandi as A.G. did not study the case thoroughly before declaring that Najib had no case to answer.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5. This again shows a dereliction of duty on the part of Apandi. Yet when he sued the Government and me for wrongful dismissal, the Government agreed to settle the case outside the court and awarded Apandi an unknown sum to drop his action suing the Government and me.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">6. This means that the Government agreed that he was wrongfully dismissed.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">7. I was not party to the settlement. I did not agree that I had wrongfully dismissed Apandi.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">8. But now, the report that he failed to take action on the report by Bank Negara, proves that he was not doing his duty as the A.G. This further justify his dismissal as A.G.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">9. That such an A.G. should be compensated with unknown sums of money do not reflect well on the rule of law in this country.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div>Farihan Hanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01391723645144755870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693449289094198967.post-53067631856516291422023-08-11T21:04:00.010+08:002023-11-14T21:07:02.005+08:00KUCING YANG DIRIBA<div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="color: #eeeeee; font-size: x-small;"><i>blogtunm.blogspot.com Tun M </i></span></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">1. Dalam Bahasa Inggeris Noel menulis, “The Mohammedan Malays, whose country then was numbered just over half the population of 5,300,000 and was distinguished by qualities of dignity rare in the world, by impeccable manners, by love of an easy-going life and consequently a lack of interest in making money”.</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial;">5.
